Your qualification and evidence of your work is your portfolio, this will sell you, as most of your clients will want to see the quality and variation of your work and how many different hair & makeup looks you are able to achieve.

A portfolio photoshoot is recommended by Zen’s as this will bring in work for you and establish you as a successful make up artist. You will need to bring your own model, outfits, accessories and makeup kit to do this shoot. Maz from Zen’s will supervise and guide you throughout the session. A studio will be booked out for you for a whole day and the photographer will take up to 150 -200 photos for you, which will be given to you on a CD. You will direct the photographer for your own shoot. It will be a fun and exiting day for the models and for you, this shoot will give you an insight into the makeup artistry industry.
